Registration is now open for the incredible TBEX Denver to Keystone Road Rally, Friday, June 15. Ten teams follow clues for 6-7 hours and 6,000 feet of elevation gain, experiencing a variety of only-in-Colorado adventures in a rally from the Mile High City to the Continental Divide and beyond. Encounters may include giant blue bears and shiny red bicycles, rock climbing and zip lining, steaming locomotives and gleaming copper beer kettles, snowballs and buffalos, rock stars and gold mines-with photo, tweeting, and posting opportunities along the way.
Each team will have a driver, a van, and a set of Pit Stop task requirements. Winners will be judged on creativity and completion of tasks within time limits (not on driving times). All contestants will receive victory beers at the finish line. The winning team will receive a special prize at the TBEX opening night reception.
Select from three rally options: Beer Adventures, Historic Encounters, and Adrenalin Rushes. More info here.
Details: The Rally begins at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 15 in Denver and participants will arrive in time for conference check-in at the Keystone Convention Center. Space is limited. To secure a spot on this race to Keystone for the TBEX conference, please email TBEX@visitdenver.com by May 31, 2012. Please be sure to specify a rally adventure option.
Speed Dating Appointments
Appointment requests are well underway for our first TBEX Speed Dating event. We have two hours set aside for pre-scheduled, fast and furious meet ups between bloggers and our sponsors. The two hours will be sectioned off in 10-minute increments, with eight minutes of meeting time and two minutes to get to the next appointment.
Use the time to pitch an idea, get information, make new industry friends, or keep your name and blog in front of representatives you’ve already met. Timing will be enforced to make sure every appointment gets the full time.
We’ll have some suggestions for how to make the best of your speed dating time in the next newsletter.
