Loutraki, Greece IFWTWA Corinthian Riviera Media Trip – September 2016

Loutraki was the first stop on our journey to some of the municipalities of the Gulf of Corinth, a semi-enclosed sea between mainland Greece and the Peloponnese. The seaside town of Loutraki is famous for the Club Hotel Casino and the indoor Loutraki Thermal Spa. We also visited traditional candy maker for Loukoumi, and the Kalielaion Oil Press before heading off to view an archeological area with ancient port. Lunch was a typical taverna on the water called Lido. Our chic Paladar dinner was attended by several government dignitaries including the mayor who arrived on a motorcycle, and took off into the night after dinner!
