Veteran specialty radio producer Andrew Harris (who is also an active food, wine and travel journalist) has produced and co-hosted the popular "SoCal Restaurant Show" on Sports Radio AM 830 KLAA - The 50,000 Watt Home of Angels baseball since October of 2012. Every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. it's a live, fast-paced, engaging insider's look at food, restaurants, libation, and travel for 2-hours.

The "SoCal Restaurant Show" is proud to have already welcomed celebrated national culinary personalities including Rick Bayless, Daniel Boulud, Scott Conant, Graham Elliott, Carla Hall, Thomas Keller, Sara Moulton, Wolfgang Puck, Ruth Reichl, Marcus Samuelsson, Jet Tila, Sherry Yard, Alan Wong, and Andrew Zimmern as guests. Jet Tila, The Royal Thai government's official Culinary Ambassador to the United States and (one of three) regular judges on Food Network's hit series "Cutthroat Kitchen with Alton Brown," was the original show host for two years.

Since 1998 Harris has been the producer and show runner of favorably reviewed and highly successful food, restaurant, libation, and travel shows heard throughout Southern California on heritage AM radio stations including KFI AM 640 (the most listened-to AM station in the West) and TalkRadio 790 KABC.

For 17 years, through 2008, Harris wrote the "Dateline" Los Angeles column covering area restaurant happenings in Los Angeles and Orange counties for "Beard Bites" now published as the official e-newsletter of the prestigious James Beard Foundation (the producers of the annual James Beard Foundation Awards, the Oscars of the food world.)

Harris' earlier background was as a respected, hands-on food and beverage professional. His career highlight then was orchestrating in 1983 and 1984 the completion of the food service plan for feeding the public at all of the twenty-three ticketed venues (in three States) hosting competitions for the 1984 Olympics as an employee of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee. Food and beverage revenue alone from the spectators totaled over $11 million and 5.8 million guests were served.
