Barbara is a travel journalist with a penchant for good food and fine tipples. Her work has appeared in major publications both nationally in her home country, Canada, and internationally. She's the author of The Frommers' Guide to the Niagara Region, edition 3 and 4, of Day Trips From Toronto, and of the Travel app, Niagara Taravel Guide. She is the current President-Elect of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and the winner of two Lowell Thomas Awards for Excellence in Travel Journalism. She is also an IFWTWA Professional Journalism Excellence Award Winner
