I'm a vibrant woman of the baby boomer generation with a passion for travel, near and far. A weekend getaway, a last-minute trip to Europe, a cross-country road trip or a local jaunt -- they’re all on my radar. And it’s all made extra special when I’m traveling with my husband and co-blogger, Mr. TWS. On my blog, Traveling with Sweeney, I aim to entertain, inform, and inspire as I share compelling photos and stories highlighting the best of destinations, food, wine, history, culture and the arts. I am founder and editor of Boomer Women Travelers, a collaborative website where travel enthusiasts of the baby boomer generation share their stories and tips from their travels around the world. I am also creating two new websites, Visit San Francisco Peninsula and Film Buff Travelers, which are currently in development.
