Since an early age, my parents instilled in me the importance of traveling, exploring, and generally trying new things. While I don't always take the straight or easy path, the journey is always exciting ... with plenty of things to share that help make the world a more interesting place.

Today, I write primarily for ManTripping.com where I cover virtually the full spectrum of travel ideas relating to "men's travel" - including: guys weekends and mancations, golf and fishing trips, dad / son travel, dog friendly travel, and romantic getaways. Additionally, I also cover Luxury Travel and Automotive for Cigar & Spirits Magazine.

In addition to being a blogger for more than 15 years as well as having written for leading publications including IT World and Washington Post.

Much of my success as a blogger and independent travel writer is through my knowlege and experence in digital marketing. Prior to focusing on being a writer full time, I managed influencer relations campaigns for brands such as Sears, Kmart, and ProFlowers. Today, I run the blogger community, #MenWhoBlog where among other things, we organize experiential media trips for leading brands including: Mazda, KIA, MGM Resorts, Visit Torrance, and Texas Tourism.

My objective for 2017 is to finish my collection of visits to all 50 US states. Anyone that can help make that happen, please let me know - I'm just missing Alaska!
