Kristin loves bringing her publishing, marketing, and editing experience to her travel writing, and her eating and drinking background to her travels. Over the past eight years, while she's traveled with her husband and TravelPast50 partner to over 60 countries, Kris has published over 200 articles, interviews, and essays for web, print, and custom projects. Little known fact: she actually enjoys having a deadline, or even three at once.

In 2017, Kris contributed to two travel books (Nat Geo's "Ultimate Journeys for Two" and Rizzoli International Publications' "Great Hiking Trails of the World." was granted eight awards by the North America Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) for 2017.
