I'm a freelance travel writer and photographer based in San Diego, California and a member of the International Travel Writers and Photographers Association as well. Since launching my writing career in October 2014, I've had over 300 published stories. Prior to this, I was a registered nurse for 34 years. My stories cover local, national and international travel, exotic destinations, beach and mountain destinations, world history, military history, family travel, hiking, food and wine, sustainable living, inspirational topics, and writing.
