Her background as a professional makeup artist has honed her eye for fine detail, which complements her work as a travel and wine writer and photographer. She is Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certified and is currently pursuing the level three certification. In addition, she hosts wine tastings for both private and retail customers.
