Scholarship Awards

The IFWTWA is proud to have an established program for recognizing excellence in journalism for professional and emerging food, wine and travel journalists.

Important Note

Members of IFWTWA are not eligible for Scholarship Award nominations. This is a self-nomination process for non-members.

• The Professional Journalism Scholarship Award recognizes seasoned, working food, wine and travel writers and will be in the form of a professional certificate signed by the IFWTWA President and an Awards Committee member, in addition to a one-year IFWTWA membership, complimentary participation in the annual IFWTWA conference, publication in Global Writes and more.
• The Emerging Writer Scholarship Award recognizes new food, wine and travel writers and will be in the form of a professional certificate signed by the IFWTWA President and an Awards Committee member, in addition to a one-year IFWTWA membership, a cash prize, publication in Global Writes and more.

NOTE: There is a $25 one-time fee to submit an entry for the Scholarship Award.
