SUNDAY, DECMBER 4

Early Arrivals
3-4 pm, 4-5 pm, 5-6 pm
Let us know and we’ll make arrangements for you to take a yoga class, go for a bike ride, etc. Afternoon Arrivals and check into hotels.
Welcome reception.
Guided exploration of ArtWalk sculpture tour, Art on First and art galleries.
Wine and Appetizers 6-8:30 pm Progressive Dinner.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 5

Breakfast with the Mayor of Napa at Hatt Hall
Historic Walking Tour of downtown and riverfront led by local historian George Webber.
Oxbow Public Market tour w/ Steve Carlin followed by lunch at your choice of Oxbow restaurants.
Wine Tour of downtown wine bars/tasting rooms with Katie Hamilton Shaffer at 3:30. Opportunity to enjoy the ice rink downtown (TBD).
Break Unwind Happy Hour followed by drinks and Dinner 7:30-9 pm.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6

Breakfast at host hotel (Destination Council Guests head upvalley) Gourmet lunch with wines aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train.
Walking tour of historic businesses (Shackfords, Steve Pierce “Barber”, Cake Plate “Dress Designs”, Annette’s Chocolates, ABC, Vals Liquor, ETC.) (TBD)

Unwind Happy hour and bites: Progressive Dinners hosted by: (TBD) 8:30–10 pm
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7
Morning 11:30am-1:00pm Afternoon/Evening
Breakfast at host hotel. Lunch served. Departures on you own or further exploration of Napa.
We’re happy to make suggestions if you intend on staying longer.
Important Notes: Three journalists will be selected to divide the trip with Downtown Napa and Up Valley. Napa will pick which journalists they want to experience this part of the trip. Air allowance of up to $200 will be allowed.
Transfers from the airport to the hotel will be the journalist’s expense. Once you are accepted and have your air reservations, it will be up to you to contact Evans Shuttle. The hotels Napa is placing the journalists at are pick up and drop off spots for Evans Shuttle. http://evanstransportation.com/rates_scheduled_airporter.php The cost for the shuttle at the time of this post show as $29 one-way from SFO and $45 one-way from Oakland.
