IFWTWA Memberships, Guidelines, Benefits & Application Link

The International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA) is a California non-profit, mutual benefit corporation with international business headquarters in Diamond Bar, California, USA.

IFWTWA has journalists and associate members based around the globe.

Regular – For working members of the press.

IFWTWA is open to individual journalists actively publishing or broadcasting in the food, wine and/or travel industries.

Eligibility: A professional paid to write, photograph, film, tape, edit or perform for a publication or broadcast on the subject matter of food, wine or travel, including staff writers, editors, freelance writers, photographers, broadcasters and book authors, but not including public relations professions or those who write about clients.

Minimum requirements most recently approved by the IFWTWA Board of Directors (subject to change), are 2 to 4 links to your most recent articles, photographs or broadcasts within the last 2 years. Book authors need to submit title of book, link, and isbn number. We accept online articles and active blogs.

Regular International – For working members of the press who live outside the United States and Australasia.

Same information required as Regular Membership.

Associate – For food, wine, and travel industry professionals, including hotels, hospitality, public relations, CVB’s, Tourist Boards, and more.

An organization may have more than one Associate Member.

Student – For students enrolled as journalism, you must submit evidence of student status with application.

Dues

Regular Member: $150 annually + $50 first year initiation fee = $200

Regular International Member (Outside the U.S. and Australasia): $120 annually + $50 first year initiation fee = $170

Associate Member: $235 annually + 50 first year initiation fee =$285

Student Member: $75 annually + $50 first year initiation fee = $125
